By on Jul 20, 2012 / Categories: CDMN News, Featured

Last month, CDMN reported that Startup Canada has already engaged over 10,000 Canadians on the road to building a startup nation. This month, the tour visited select cities in Quebec (from July 9th to 13th) and Newfoundland and Labrador (from July 16th to 19th) prior to taking a one-month break in August.

To date, the tour has hosted over 21 town hall events and 60 fringe events. More than 160 partners have collaborated to host Startup Canada in their communities – helping to bring stakeholders closer together to achieve success nationwide. In addition, Startup Canada has completed more than 250 spotlight interviews with entrepreneurs from all industries and all stages of development. Check out Startup Canada’s Speaker’s Corner for some of those discussions.

Startup Canada will wrap-up its nationwide tour this September by visiting select cities in Ontario and finally British Columbia.

CDMN is a proud supporter of the Startup Canada program. Visit the Startup Canada website for a complete list of all of the tour dates and coverage from the national tour events that have taken place across Canada so far.
