Need Funding? Apply Now to Participate in WCIT’s 2012 C200 Investment Forum

If you have an early-stage technology company with maximum annual revenues of $5 million and a ready-to-sell product or service, you can apply to participate for free in WCIT’s 2012 C200 Invesment Forum on October 24th, 2012 in Montreal. At this premium networking event, international investors will present their venture capital investment strategy and portfolio to a select group of Canada’s smartest and most innovative technology companies.
Canadian companies will have the opportunity to gain insights into international partnering possibilities and to participate in informal discussions with various c-level representatives from foreign and domestic investment companies.
How to participate as a company or investor
Backbone magazine’s Start Me Up! Alpha Exchange Innovation Campaign will select Canadian companies through a formal review process. Early-stage companies with maximum annual revenues of $5 million are qualified to enter. Successful entrants must have a ready-to-sell product or service and a complete business plan, along with a detailed market analysis. Any business or technology sector is relevant.
- The deadline for entries is July 31, 2012, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.
- The top 200 applicants will receive an invitation to attend the C200 Investment Forum for free
- The C200 will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Participating international investors and portfolio managers will be invited by the C200 organizing committee, which includes Export Development Canada, the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and Industry Canada. Participating investors are encouraged to use the WCIT 2012 networking and B2B platform to discover new partnering possibilities and gain international exposure.
