During the C200 Forum, international and domestic venture capital funds and investors will present, through internationally focused panel discussions, their portfolios and investment strategies to a select group of Canada’s 200 leading startups and early-stage technology companies (i.e. the C200).

The C200 will provide a forum to match and introduce Canada’s next generation of ICT exporters to established players in the ICT community, with the goal of creating partnering and investment opportunities that will ultimately lead to increasing Canadian trade. The platform will also provide international guests the opportunity to have firsthand access to the best of Canada’s innovative technology offerings.

This premium, full day networking event, additionally offers participating companies the opportunity to gain insights into international partnering possibilities and to conduct discussions with various c-level representatives from foreign and domestic investment firms. Panel discussions will include topics such as ICT Opportunities in the Asian Market, Multinationals’ Corporate Venture Strategies and Opportunities from ICT Convergence Across Industries.

The C200 listing was compiled through industry consultations and a formal review process by Backbone Magazine and their Start Me Up! National Campaign’s advisory team. Key partners in the C200 Forum also include; the Business Development Bank of Canada, the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada and Industry Canada.
