By on Jul 4, 2012 / Categories: CDMN News, Featured

Last week, Canadian Digital Media Network node MaRS released volume two of its new Mod Media Makers series – a  showcase of Canadian innovators who dare to think differently, take risks, know how to adapt and aspire to solve big and unexpected problems for both niche markets and entire industries.

In the piece, Toronto-based entrepreneurs, including the founders of CardSwap, HomeSav, HitSend, ShopCastr, SocialGift, Squag, UniiverseCreativeD and Hammerati tell you what they do and why they do it. Fearless and connected, these entrepreneurs also explain how they survive and thrive in an economy and culture that is changing with surprising velocity, relying on passion, intuition, ambition and real-time analysis to successfully adapt in this highly complex and uncertain environment. Driven to succeed, they’re eager to make a difference and put their creative skills to work to create simple, yet compelling solutions.

Today, MaRS is seeing unprecedented disruption in the technology sector, with enormous changes yet to come. These entrepreneurs are at the forefront of the action, leading the pack through innovation.

Check out the video below, which is a motivational piece for other entrepreneurs who, as Nathan Monk, Senior Associate at MaRS says “are in ‘the trenches’ searching for answers as they iterate and search for scalable business models:”
