Earlier this year, two CDMN nodes, Communitech and MaRS launched new accelerator programs for qualifying Canadian startups. These initiatives were built on the best practices established by U.S.-based incubators such as YCombinator,TechStars and 500 Startups while providing Canadian startups with access to local seed-round funding and commercialisation resources, plus guidance from world-class mentors, all in their own backyard.
